Prof. Dr. De Keyser has many years of experience in medical retina. She performs diagnoses using fluorescein angiography and OCT and provides treatments with argon laser therapy and intravitreal injections in our operating theatre.
Glaucoma is her passion. She obtained her PhD in 2017 on glaucoma and the new selective laser therapy. Since then, our practice has introduced the next generation of Direct Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (DSLT).
In 2017, Prof. Dr. De Keyser obtained her PhD at the University of Antwerp on the treatment of glaucoma using Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT). Our practice was among the first to introduce the upgraded SLT device and now already works with the next generation of Direct SLT technology.
