Dr. Vicky Boeyden is oogarts met een bijzondere expertise in medische retina, vitreoretinale chirurgie en glaucoom. Tijdens haar opleiding specialiseerde zij zich in onder meer glaucoom, medische retina, vitreoretinale chirurgie, kinderoogheelkunde, hoornvliespathologie en neuro-oogheelkunde.
Na haar opleiding in het ZNA Middelheim Ziekenhuis werkte zij als specialist medische retina en vervolgens als vitreoretinaal chirurg. Daarnaast volgde zij verschillende internationale fellowships in cataractchirurgie en vitreoretinale chirurgie in onder meer India, Duitsland, Italië, Nederland en de Verenigde Staten.
Door haar ruime klinische ervaring en internationale opleiding combineert zij een doorgedreven kennis van netvliesaandoeningen met geavanceerde chirurgische technieken. Ze hecht veel belang aan een persoonlijke begeleiding en een behandeling op maat van elke patiënt.
