Along with colleagues Dr. Van Keer (OAMM), Dr. De Wilde (Eyecenter), Dr. Vryghem (Brussels Eye Doctors), and Dr. Heintz (Oogcentrum Brugge), he represented the Signifeye group at this insightful congress.<\/p><p data-start=\"524\" data-end=\"835\">During AECOS (American-European Congress of Ophthalmic Surgery), the latest developments in surgical ophthalmology were discussed \u2014 from innovative treatment techniques to technological breakthroughs. Dr. Mertens participated in several panel discussions, including an engaging debate on new treatment options.<\/p><p data-start=\"837\" data-end=\"1105\">By actively taking part in this international exchange of knowledge and expertise, we ensure that the most up-to-date insights are integrated into our practice.
